An upright stand that keeps a roll where you need it and lets you tear one-handed, because the weight of the base does the holding for you. The plain black steel is quiet enough to sit on a counter without becoming the thing you look at.
Base: 6.3 inch round steel, painted black
Post: 12.6 inch steel rod, painted to match
Fits: standard and large rolls
Assembly: two screws and a hex key, both included
It suits a kitchen counter, but it works just as well in a bathroom, a dining room or an office. Assembly takes a minute, and a wipe with a damp cloth keeps the finish even.
