Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 07, 2026

Aimarche operates the website aimarche.com. This policy sets out what personal information we collect when you browse the site or place an order, why we hold it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to everything we do at aimarche.com and to the emails we send about your orders.

1. What we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and only what an online shop genuinely needs to trade.

  • Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses, plus anything you write to us in a support message.
  • Information about your orders. What you bought, when, the value of the order, its delivery status, and the history of any return or refund attached to it.
  • Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, the site that referred you, and the time of each visit.

2. Payment information

Payments are handled by Shopify Payments, which operates to PCI-DSS standards, and the checkout runs over an encrypted connection. Full card numbers and payment credentials are never written to our servers. What we receive back is the confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and the last digits and card type needed to match a refund to the right transaction.

3. Why we use it

  • To take, pack, ship and track your order, and to process a return or a refund when one is due.
  • To answer your messages and keep a record of what was agreed.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent orders and unauthorised use of the site.
  • To understand which pages and products are used, so we can fix what is broken and drop what is not wanted.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To send marketing email, but only if you asked for it. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link and one click is enough.

4. Who else sees it

We share personal information with third parties only where they perform a service that makes your order possible, and only with the data that service needs:

  • Our e-commerce platform, which hosts the storefront and the order records.
  • Our payment processor, to take the payment and issue refunds.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver the parcel and provide tracking.
  • Analytics and email providers, to measure site usage and send order notifications.

We may also disclose information when a law, a regulation, a subpoena or a court order requires it, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, our property or the safety of others. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies to keep your cart intact between pages, remember your preferences, secure the checkout and measure traffic. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, but some parts of the site, the cart in particular, will stop working properly without them.

6. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as we need them to support the purchase, handle disputes and satisfy tax and accounting law. Support correspondence is kept while it is useful to the case and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

7. How we protect it

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we hold: SSL/TLS encryption for everything transmitted between your browser and the site, restricted access to order records, and processors that are themselves security-certified. No system on the internet can be promised as perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we treat a breach of your data as a serious failure rather than an accepted cost.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct anything inaccurate or out of date;
  • delete your information, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it;
  • stop sending you marketing, which you can also do from any marketing email.

Write to support@aimarche.com to exercise any of these. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, so that nobody else can make a request in your name.

9. California residents (CCPA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you additional rights:

  • Right to know the categories and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, and the purposes.
  • Right to delete personal information we hold, subject to the legal exceptions that let us keep transaction records.
  • Right to opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information. If that ever changed, we would publish a clear opt-out before doing so.
  • Right to non-discrimination. Exercising a privacy right will never cost you a different price, a worse service or a refused order.

Send a CCPA request to support@aimarche.com with CCPA Request in the subject line.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in line with COPPA. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as the business or the law changes. The revised version is posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the site after that date means the new version applies to you. It is worth re-reading occasionally.
